Salty Spa has a four-person infrared sauna combined with forty pounds of Himalayan salt bricks. For many years, the deep penetrating heat from the infrared sauna has been known to be beneficial to soothing aching muscles and reducing stress. With the addition of Himalayan salt, the salt bricks saturate the interior of the sauna with negative ions. These are the very same negative ions that permeate the air at the beach, The salt in the ocean releases negative ions into the air, which reduce pollutants and promote calmer, happier disposition in the people who breathe it. Our saunas are configured the same way, only with more intensity. In fact, sitting for an hour in one of our salt saunas can be equivalent to 2-3 days at the beach. ​
